I’m SeQuoia, an enthusiastic free spirit, proudly occupying space as a plant toting, leisure reading, queer woman of color. I can think of 735 reasons to have an impromptu dance party and undoubtedly believe vulnerability, kindness and showing up through discomfort is where the magic of growth happens.

Army Officer turned designer - I’m measured, packed with grit, and can always find a gem in the toughest of situations. It’s kinds of a super power! I’m passionate about pushing the status quo to leverage human centered research + design as a tool for radical truth telling and meaningful impact. Whether personally designing end-to-end or leading a team, you can almost always catch me influencing design and business outcomes with curiosity, partnership, clear vision, facts, and attention to details.

I currently lead an enterprise design team at Target, focused on creating intuitive experiences for our exclusively curated third party marketplace vendors and the Target Team Members that support them.
